Recently, the School of Information Science and Engineering held a special work conference on the employment of 2024 graduates in the 60910 conference room of the college. The party and government leaders, department heads, teacher representatives, department level cadres, and graduation counselors of the college attended this meeting to jointly discuss and study the direction and strategies for the next step of employment work.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lai Xinglin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in charge of student work, introduced the overall employment situation of the college to the attendees. Subsequently, the graduation counselor reported the employment data of each major one by one and introduced the difficult issues in current student employment. Subsequently, the heads of various professional departments introduced the work measures and achievements taken by our department in promoting employment, guiding further education, and expanding positions.
Dean Yang Jianxi has put forward three requirements for employment work: firstly, to guide students to understand the industry situation and assist them in making scientific and reasonable personal positioning; Secondly, it is necessary to promptly understand the situation of unemployed students and provide classified assistance and guidance; Thirdly, the entire faculty and staff of the college should unify their thinking, strengthen collaboration among departments and offices, and work together to promote employment work.
Party Secretary Hu Hao pointed out that employment is the foundation of people's livelihood and is of great significance to the country, society, and individuals. All faculty and staff in the college should attach great importance to the issue of student employment.
