In order to improve the ability of college students to choose jobs and start businesses, the employment service guidance was pre-oriented, and on November 24, the School of Information Science held a "Career Guidance Campus open class" in the Academic lecture hall of the Student Activity Center on the Science City Campus. This lecture invited Ms. Yang Li, winner of the National May Day Labor Medal and Chongqing's "Chongqing Elite · Young top talent", to teach you about the experience and methods of career selection and entrepreneurship. The lecture was chaired by Lai Xinglin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College.
At the beginning of the activity, attracted many other college students, they came, the crowd in the lecture hall, the number of participants as many as 900 people, the atmosphere is warm. It enriches the participating groups and provides a broader platform for communication and interaction.
Ms. Yang Li first introduced her career line and divided her life into three periods, from the exploration and growth period to the maturity and stability period to the return and exploration period now. Yang Li listed four key points in choosing a career: choose your strengths, choose your interests, choose what you need, and choose what you love. This gave the students a great inspiration and was warmly reflected by the audience. Her easy way of explaining makes people more clearly understand the underlying logic of choosing a career and starting a business. Finally, an interactive session will be held to discuss how to prepare for employment and enhance leadership. At the scene, the students rushed to express their views, highlighting the enthusiasm and vitality of Chongqing Jiaotong University. After Mr. Yang Li's explanation, Mr. Lai Xinglin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College, answered questions about the postgraduate entrance examination that the students were concerned about.
Miss Yang Li's lecture provided the students with useful guidance. When facing the major decision of choosing a career and starting a business, we should start from our own perspective, give full play to our own advantages and strengths, pay attention to market demand and development trend, and choose the field we love. I believe that students who follow the underlying logic will be able to succeed in their future careers and realize their self-worth.
